Our sheep cheese is produced at the Horstbrande farm in Achterberg. This is a small town near Rhenen. Growing up on his parents’ farm, farmer Boonzaaijer developed his passion for farming. Farmer Gerrit is an all-rounder, from breeding and maintaining the herd to milking and cheese making. His herd consists of some two hundred Frisian dairy sheep.
The Boonzaaijer family’s sheep cheese is known for its high and consistent quality. Each cheese weighs around 5 kilos, and they come in young, mature and old varieties.
