Stompetoren Young is a cheese to savour. Made from 100% pasture-raised milk and carefully aged on wooden shelves in the cheese warehouse of Remijn Cheese Shop. This cheese is aged for 4 to 6 weeks, has a wonderfully creamy texture, and a mild, accessible flavor.
Stompetoren cheese takes its name from the village of Stompetoren in North Holland. Our cows graze in this region, and the cheese is made at the CONO cheese factory in Westbeemster. This factory, known as the greenest in the world, combines traditional craftsmanship with modern, innovative techniques.
