Goat cheese from neighbor Marijke

Neighbor Marijke is the brand name that Cheese Shop Remijn uses for Marijke's goat cheeses. The milk used to make these cheeses comes from the neighbors across the street. Thus, the name Neighbor Marijke was born.

Goat cheese

Cheese made with milk from the neighbor's goats—it couldn't be fresher or more local! You can taste that short supply chain in the cheese: "beautifully balanced, fresh, herby, not too salty, and not too 'goat-y,'" as Marijke describes the cheeses herself.

At the request of Cheese Shop Remijn, Marijke Booij van Booij Cheesemakers In addition to making natural goat cheeses, we also started producing herb cheeses. These cheeses have become a popular part of the Remijn Cheese Shop's product range and are now an indispensable part of the assortment.

Cheese with seasonal flavors

In addition to the standard cheeses, Neighbor Marijke also makes surprising seasonal mixes. Think of flavor combinations such as pistachio pepper (autumn mix) and a fresh spring mix with lemon and thymeThese cheeses are carefully crafted, with herbs and spices beautifully balanced with the cheese's soft flavor.

Thanks to the artisanal ripening process, our cheeses develop a beautiful texture and a full, accessible flavor. Goat cheeses are known for being easily digestible and are often chosen by people who are conscious about their food. This makes these goat cheeses not only delicious but also a conscious choice.
