When will there be grass cheese again?

Graskaas will be available again in early June. Why not until then? We will explain.

Why is Graskaas so special?

As soon as the temperature rises and it no longer freezes at night, new grass begins to grow. When the cows finally go back out after a long winter, the grass in the pasture is tender and juicy once again. That first, fresh spring grass is packed with vitamins and healthy fats (such as omega-3). When the cows eat this grass and the nutrients are absorbed, the milk produced is naturally much softer and creamier. And you can taste this immediately in the cheese:

• Taste: Unprecedentedly mild and almost a little sweet.
• Structure: So soft that the cheese almost melts on your tongue.
• Color: Beautiful golden yellow, as if the spring sun is captured in it.

Until when is grass cheese available?

Graskaas is a true seasonal product. Because the unique composition of the grass changes after a few weeks, graskaas is only available for a short period. It is the ultimate treat for the cheese lover who appreciates pure and fresh.

So we all need to be patient a little longer… As soon as the grass cheese is back, we will of course share it with you!
