What does our collaboration look like?

I've been a customer at Remijn Cheese Shop for about six years now. Initially, it was for the farmhouse cheeses, but because my brothers and I started working together (one brother owns several cheese shops and the other a cheese truck), our larger volume allowed us to also arrange some foreign cheeses. It's so convenient to have everything in one place. Remijn was already doing some of this, and it's only grown in recent years.

Why did you choose to sell our cheese?

The previous supplier had a rather limited selection, and we weren't entirely satisfied with how things were going. In addition, several Stompetoren vendors in the area were closing down, and I wanted to capitalize on that. I personally didn't necessarily have anything to do with Stompetoren Cheese, but I'm noticing that people really enjoy it and keep coming back for more. We now have a supplier who offers a wide range and who thinks along with you.

Have we helped you with anything in the past? Anything that still resonates with you?

Yes, with several things, in fact! When we moved to a different building in 2024, both Peter and Evert helped us think about the interior and presentation. A fun promotion featuring cheese biscuits was devised for the opening, and Evert (the salesperson) helped with cutting and presenting everything. I also had one empty wall in the shop. We turned it into a lovely corner for the Master RefinersA lighted display that stands out beautifully against the wall, with the cheeses displayed underneath. It's a real eye-catcher!

What would you say to an entrepreneur who isn't yet working with Kaashandel Remijn?

Do it now! But seriously: a wide selection of high-quality cheeses, both farmhouse and international. With the Remijn en Route van, they have an even more attractive and unique selection. They also contribute ideas for promotions and design, which is a real added value!
